"When we went to the church on Tuesday 24th March, we enjoyed 4 activities about the Easter story. When we got there, we were put into 3 groups. The first activity was acting out part of the story where two friends walked to Emmaus and they ate with Jesus, but they didn’t know it was him. When they realised, Jesus had disappeared. The second activity, someone was chosen to leave the room, a dog was brought in and taken out. The person then came back into the room, and we had to convince them about the dog. It tells the story of Thomas when he didn’t believe that Jesus had appeared to the disciples. The third activity we pretended we were in a boat, and we couldn’t catch any fish. Then someone played Jesus and told us to fish on the other side of the boat. We caught lots of fish and then realised it was Jesus. Peter then jumped into the water and swam over to Jesus. We all got to try a bit of the fish. The final activity, someone was chosen to play Saul, and he was to arrest anyone who thought Jesus was alive. He chose two people to go with him. They saw a bright light and fell to the floor. When he got up, he was blind, and the helpers took him somewhere. They heard Jesus’s voice, and he was healed. All of this reminds us to believe in Jesus." Max
