As part of our PE lessons, we were delighted to welcome coaches from Northampton Saints into school this term to deliver exciting tag rugby sessions for all pupils from Year 1 through to Year 6.
Across the week, every class had the opportunity to take part in fun, inclusive lessons that developed key skills such as teamwork, co-ordination, agility and communication. The coaches created a positive and engaging environment, ensuring that all children, regardless of experience, felt confident and motivated to get involved. It was fantastic to see so many pupils enjoying rugby and growing in confidence as the sessions progressed.
In addition to the curriculum sessions, we were thrilled to offer a lunchtime tag rugby club led by the Saints team. This proved extremely popular, giving pupils the chance to further develop their skills, play games and build friendships in a relaxed and supportive setting.
We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Northampton Saints and are incredibly grateful for the enthusiasm and expertise they brought to our school. The experience has inspired many of our pupils, and we hope to continue building our links with the club in the future.
