The whole team arrived at 8.25am ready to open their mind up to a new opportunity! Excited, we got on to the minibus ready for a great day ahead. Firstly, we got seated and received a brief introduction about what will happen during the day. Soon after, we started our matches with a smile on our face and good sportsmanship in our hearts. We played games and won all of them! We then did stadium orienteering, then a tour. We met Emily Scarratt who played for England 112 times! We all got lots of things signed by her and she is also going to be playing in the EU World Cup soon. Finally, we completed some training skills and then said goodbye and headed back to school. Cricket Competition June 2025

On Tuesday 10th June, Mrs Devereux took Theo, Luke, Charlie, Zephyr, Isaac, Anthony, Coen and Amelie to a cricket competition at Boothville Primary School. We played against Boothville and Hunsbury. Boothville won 68-51 against us and we won against Hunsbury by 83-34. However, Hunsbury had to leave so Boothville couldn’t play them. After that, Boothville and Brixworth played each other in a friendly so that meant Brixworth and Boothville tied in first. We then found out a week later that we qualified for the final but sadly we can’t attend as we are at the residential. - Theo N and Charlie B
