On Thursday 26th February KS1 had an amazing experience. Northampton College of Dance came in and performed 'Alice in Wonderland'. This involved lots of different styles of dance and some fabulous costumes and make up! The children loved watching the performance.
"I really loved the cheshire cat and the flamingo." Ruby.
"The Queen of Hearts was super cool and Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum were really funny." Harrison.
Alongside this, Year 2 received a great dance workshop from all the performers. The children got to learn one of the dance routines from the performance and their characters signature moves.
"The dance workshop was really fun, I got to wear Tweedle Dee’s spinning hat!" Beau.
The Brixworth Dance group also had the opportunity to watch the performance, ready for their upcoming competition. They were lucky enough to have the opportunity to perform their dance to Northampton College. An unforgettable experience for the children.
"The performers were so good, it really inspired me to perform like them. Hopefully one day I will be as good as them!" Mia.
