Year 3 & 4 had a fantastic time celebrating our Greek - themed WOW Day! The children took part in a range of exciting, hands-on activities that helped them learn more about Greek culture and history.
They enjoyed learning some traditional Greek dancing, exploring the music and movements together. During food tasting, the children sampled a variety of Greek foods and discussed the different flavours, ingredients and traditions associated with them.
The children also got creative with crown making, designing and decorating their own Greek-inspired crowns. To develop their knowledge, they completed a Greek fact hunt, searching for interesting facts about Greece and discovering more about its landmarks, culture and ancient history.
It was a fun-filled and memorable day, with lots of opportunities for the children to learn, create, explore and celebrate Greece!
