On Wednesday 4th June, our Athletic team took part in a competition at Moulton track. When we first arrived, our first event was howler. We had three throws, one of which was a practise throw. The second event was a 600m long distance race (a lap and a half). After that, we made our way to the next event which was long jump. We had three jumps, one was a practise, the other two were real. Then we did a 75m sprint which held four people in each race. Finally, the last event of the day was a relay. We halved our team into girls and boys and ran back and forth with a batten. We came 8th of out 33 schools! This was the year 6s last athletics competition and we are so grateful for all the times Mrs Devereux had taken us. - By Ava H, Edie B and Mia S
