On Sunday 22nd March we had the pleasure of taking 30 children to the Dancing Schools UK competition at the Spinney Hill Hall.
Both teams have been practising each week and have been dedicated and committed to learning the dances, something that for most of them is very different to their usual hobbies and sport!
They started by dancing the Viennese Waltz followed by the Cha Cha Cha and with a very supportive audience cheering them on, this was an amazing experience for them all. Both team Sparkle & Shine and team Razzle & Dazzle represented our school with confidence and enthusiasm.
Congratulations to team Sparkle & Shine who were placed third in the morning competition and team Razzle & Dazzle who also qualified. Both teams will be performing in the finals on 27th June at Derngate.
